Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Printable Lane (“Printable Lane”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit printablelane.com (the “Site”). Printable Lane is run by Hakan. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us or subscribe to our newsletter (when available), we collect your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our partners automatically collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, the time and date of your visit and approximate location (city or country level). This is collected through server logs, cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as health, financial or government ID data.

2. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site;
  • To reply to your messages and send newsletters you asked for;
  • To understand how visitors use the Site (analytics);
  • To show advertising that helps keep our printables free;
  • To detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense and other third-party advertising companies to serve ads on the Site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU, www.youronlinechoices.eu.

To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a Google-certified consent message and can choose whether to allow personalised ads.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors find and use the Site, for example which pages are popular. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, time spent on the Site and general location. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Hosting, security and performance

The Site is hosted by a web hosting provider and protected and delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to keep the Site secure and fast. These providers act on our behalf and are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners use them for the purposes described above. For details and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site (such as hosting, security, analytics, advertising and email providers), when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

8. Affiliate links

Some posts contain affiliate links. If you click one, the merchant may set a cookie to record that you came from our Site. See our Disclaimer & Affiliate Disclosure.

9. Your rights

EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR). We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, personalised ads and analytics cookies where required), our legitimate interests in running and securing the Site, and to comply with the law. You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

California and other US states. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out of personalised ads using the links in section 3. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To make any request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

11. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS encryption, to protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, however.

13. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Printables for kids are meant to be downloaded by parents and teachers. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Links to other websites

The Site links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
